Good AI, and an interesting card game make for a solid buy. Really needs perhaps 5 more cards though so replays are even more unpredictable. As it is you can pretty much play with 3 strategies and be confident the cards you need for one will show up. Multiplayer wouldnt hurt either, espescially local multiplayer.

This is unquestionably the worst game Ive purchased to date from the App store. It claims to be a Dominion clone, but its game play is so impossible to determine, its impossible to play accurately. The tutorial is a joke, explaining little and riddled with typos. Card values, the things you can do each phase, and the game mechanics themselves are nearly impossible to determine. Moral of the story? If you want a Dominion clone, buy Ascension instead.

I got this even though some older reviews said Campaign mode stage 2 was unbeatable. There had been an update since they were written so I gave the developers benefit of the doubt that something that negative would be fixed. I was wrong. This game is fun for a little while in normal mode, but there arent enough different cards and the second stage of Campaign mode is STILL unbeatable. And the way in which it is unbeatable is particularly frustrating (see older reviews for Magic comparison). For the $1.99 I paid for this, its ok, but REALLY needs another update. FIX CAMPAIGN MODE!!

Game plays well, but an update to the UI and retina would make it better. Also adding icons to the cards so I dont have to double tap to find out what they do would help.

Well-written, easy to use application. Could use some updates for additional cards. AI is good (or I play poorly, winning only 30%).

Please let us turn off music but keep sounds. And a sound at my turn would be nice.

So I dont know if campaign mode was tweaked, but Im on stage four and I dont see what the problem is. Ive come up short twice on that one, but it seems beatable. I love having a campaign mode and the game is awesome. I am getting better, but still havent won a normal game. (Ive come in a close second). Please keep up the good work. More expansions and more campaigns would be great. Perhaps campaigns to unlock new cards????

Campaign is technically beatable under optimal circumstances, but requires tons of retries for a perfect start AND getting lucky! (on the second row of scenarios now) could actually be fun if the game were designed that way, right now it is designed to be frustrating

Tutorial is useless. Ive never played Dominion so I guess thats the missing piece to understanding how to play this game. The tutorial is an afterthought, and doesnt explain anything of how the play actually works. Very disappointing, because I wanted to learn how to play and like this game.

Very similar to Dominion, with good art and gameplay (even a decent campaign). Audio could be better - fx are cheap sounding and music is very repetitive. Tutorial could be better too - if you dont know how to play Dominion, you may have a bit of trouble picking this up, and the quirky interface doesnt help. Also the game really needs online multiplayer, like Ascension has. All of that said however, this is a really fun game - Ive become as addicted to it as I have to Ascension.

Wont even open for me. I get a black screen and jumbled up noises ...which perhaps is the actual sound effects or a messed up version of them. Ive tried resetting my iPad (1st gen) .. But still nothing...looking fwd to playing this now that Ive bought it. Pls fix this... Still wont open for me, just a black screen with annoying noises. Ios5.1 iPad 1st gen

Terrible "tutorial", the rest of the game is a disaster. As a fan of Dominion I am sorry to have supported this awful knockoff. Do not buy. For real, this game is a blight on the app store.

This is a good Dominion clone, but it has frozen 4 times already and Ive only had it a week. I enjoy playing, but there are a couple improvements that could been made.

First off, this is the card game Dominion, with different card names. Its not "like it", this IS Dominion. Secondly, nothing about this app is HD. It is designed for the iPhone, and looks terrible on an iPad. Third, the "campaign mode" is not what you are hoping, and is just very frustrating. It is a series of puzzles devised by slightly changing the rules for a round. There is no progression element or advancement, nor cards to unlock.
